Or more appropriately, a page about me; my name is Allison Anne Giovetti. I was given the alias of Galadriel while in college. A classmate, now a good friend, upon meeting me for the first time told me that I was the exact image of how he had imagined the Lady of Lothlórien. I was so flattered that I applied it to everything in my life.
Let's see, a little more about me beyond a reference to an ancient and elven Lady of the page. I work for an online company called modStop, Inc., which sells add-ons and modules for the Miva Merchant online shopping cart program. I am the Director of Sales and Technical Support, so I keep pretty busy. My parents, Alfred and Christine, are both Certified Public Accountants with their own practice who incidentally have undergraduate degrees in Biology; my father also has a doctorate in Microbiology. I was born one year and one day after my parents were married. Catherine was born one year, four months and fifteen days after I was, Amanda was born two years, one month and twenty-one days after Cathy, and Michael was born one year, eight months and twelve days after Mandy. Cathy is studying Fashion design, Mandy is studying Journalism and Mike hopes to study computer game development. As for me, I want to go back to school for an undergraduate degree in Art History and Classical through Renaissance Studies then get my Masters of Library Science and be an archivist.
Aside from work and my family, I spend all of my free time with the love of my life, James. We share many loves, including the one that brought us together, Rush (the band not the overgrown windbag). Hmm, what else... I love to sing. I had formerly taken classical voice and loved it very much, but lately I have been concentrating on Celtic music. I am an amateur astrologer, I love casting birth charts and working out progressions, but as I do all calculations myself and hand draw the charts it can be rather time consuming. I have recently rediscovered my passion for writing and am a fan fiction addict. I am obsessed with Harry Potter and all things Middle Earth and currently have a few stories in the works in each world. I am a hopeless Romantic and also love angst and mystery. I like to knit and read and watch movies. Well, I guess that's all for now :)
